Here it is everyone, your first look at Izax, The Destroyer. The final boss of the Gods From the Machine Operation. I don’t know what he does, but it ain’t good whatever it is.
Izax is part of the Zakuulan pantheon of gods. He is the husband of Scyva and the father of Tyth, Aivela, Esne, and Nahut. Not much else is know about this serpentine slaughterer. An excerpt from the Veneration of Izax, found in the Voss Star Fortress, sheds little light on this mythical monstrosity.
“…Honor the omnipotence of Izax, the Ultimate Devourer: father, ruler, and bringer of death to us all. His forms are infinite, but his great glory flies on serpent wings….”
Is this hyperbole or fact? We’ll find out soon enough.
Izax is coming in Game Update 5.8 which will go live on March 20th. There is a special Izax event where you can earn a time locked achievement, an exclusive title, and a special legacy reward by defeating him in Veteran mode. These are only available until Game Update 5.9 goes live on May 1st. After that, the achievement and title will be unobtainable. The item will become a rare drop off of Izaz and be bind-on-pickup.
