We’ll Always Have Taris #INTPIPOMO 2016

Thana Vesh is the prodigal Sith and one of my favorite characters in Star Wars: The Old Republic. With today’s super fast leveling it’s tempting to just stick with your class story as you work your way to max-level. While the class stories are great, there are some wonderful planetary story arcs that are just as good; the Imperial storyline on Taris being one of them.

Here you are met by an unexpected rival in Thana Vesh. She is the character that I love to hate. Male players get a flirt option, but don’t get your hopes up. Thana is the consummate Sith, and her hatred towards you is unwavering.

I love the back and forth dialogue as well as the competition and trying to best one another at every turn. The dialogue options range from embracing the rivalry to extending an olive branch of cooperation.

I find this questline more satisfying with a Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor than I do an Imperial Agent or Bounty Hunter. It still works for the non-force users. Thana losing to a non-force user has to be more humiliating to her than getting bested by another Sith, right?

There are a couple of ways that storyline can end, but no matter what you choose you don’t run into her again. I have a great fondness for her, so I usually let her walk away and I think to myself, we’ll always have Taris.
